Conventions of Title Sequences

In the film 'Memento' the conventions of the title sequence are that the production company is first and is then followed by the distribution company. This always appears in the beginning before the film title and the cast starring in the film. In Memento, the actors names come up before the name of the film itself. This is not always the case as sometimes in title sequences it can be the other way around. However the title of the film come up and stays on the screen longer than most things except from the production companies name. At the end of the title sequence typically comes the directors name and this film follows suit.

Followed by the Distribution company;

The cast are then introduced followed by a meaningful pause on the films name MEMENTO;
