Health and safety tutorial

In the health and safety tutorial we learnt how to use the memory card and set up the tripod; making sure that the camera was safely adjusted onto the tripod and could not fall off.

We were also shown how to adjust the focus of the camera so when we zoom in or out the quality will still be concise and clear. I think learning about how to adjust the quality of the shot was really helpful and insightful because my group plans to hopefully use zoom in and out in our thriller opening.

Before going out and doing any filming you have to make sure that the battery of your camera is charged, otherwise the battery will run out very quickly and this will conflict with your plans has you will not be able to do any filming.

Its very important that when using the memory card it doesn't get scratched or damaged because you might have trouble accessing your film work afterwards. Make sure that you put your memory card into the correct slot because the camera won't be able to read your memory card if you put it in the incorrect slot.

Before you put your camera onto the tripod make sure all the legs are pulled out to their full extent and secured. This will ensure that the tripod is stable and will not fall whilst the camera is locked onto the tripod as otherwise the camera could fall and be damaged beyond repair.
