Thrillers have a very wide range target audience depending on the certificate rating. Consequently I would say the thriller genre is targeted at 15 to 30 year olds because of the mature content in the film itself. As the thriller genre can be put into different sub-genres different types of thrillers attract different audiences. I believe the audience age would range from 15-30. Also the majority of viewers would be female as women have more versatile tastes in thrillers rather than males who would prefer to watch an action or sci-fi thriller than they would a romance thriller.
